Clouds stick around Tuesday, light precipitation possible later

KTVZ-TV

Good Tuesday morning!

We’ll see mostly cloudy skies today, with a few breaks of sunshine early on.

If you’re heading out the door between 7 and 9 this morning, temperatures will be in the upper 20s to upper 30s.

We’re expecting afternoon highs in the 40s across the board today.

After sunset, there’s a chance for some light rain or a rain and snow mix. The Cascades could also pick up a light snow accumulation for the first time in a while.

Some spotty rain and snow showers will return on Wednesday. While major travel issues aren’t expected, roads could be slick at times.

Highs are expected to rise to the low 50s on Thursday. We could see a wintry mix followed by more rain as temperatures warm. We’re not expecting much precipitation, with totals remaining light.

We’ll keep warming up, and the weekend looks dry with highs in the low to mid 50s.
