Pleasant day ahead, chance for rain this weekend

KTVZ-TV

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - We’re staying dry through Friday, but we do have a chance for showers this weekend.

Today looks pleasant with partly to mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 50s and maybe some low 60s.

Overnight lows will dip into the mid 20s to low 30s under mostly cloudy skies.

Clouds increase Saturday ahead of a chance for rain late Saturday into Sunday. The air is very dry, so some of that rain may not even reach the ground.

Sunday also marks the start of meteorological spring, which runs through March, April, and May. This is different from astronomical spring, which begins with the vernal equinox later in March.

Temperatures stay mild this weekend, holding in the mid 50s.

Dry weather returns Monday and Tuesday as high pressure builds back in.

The first few days of March will feel spring-like, and we could even hit 60 again on Tuesday. Rain and high-elevation snow chances return midweek.

Enjoy your Friday and have an amazing weekend!
