Quiet and mild Monday, rain chances return Tuesday

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - Temperatures are above normal today, with afternoon highs in the low to mid 60s. Conditions remain dry through Monday.

Typical highs for late March are in the low to mid 50s.

Overnight lows will dip into the upper 30s to low 40s under mostly cloudy skies.

Changes arrive Tuesday as the next system brings more clouds, light rain to lower elevations and snow in the mountains. It will also turn breezy, with wind gusts around 25 to 30 mph.

Highs will stay in the mid 60s Tuesday before cooling to the low to mid 50s by Wednesday. There's a chance for light rain again with some snow mixing in at times.

Sunny skies return Thursday with mild temperatures in the mid 50s. Overnight lows will be chilly midweek, dipping back into the 20s starting Wednesday.

Temperatures rebound into the 60s Friday and into the weekend, with quiet conditions to finish the week.

Overall, the week looks mostly pleasant, with just a short midweek interruption in the quiet weather pattern.
