More snow by the weekend

Snow is likely to fall in the Cascades for the next several days. Beginning today, Mt. Bachelor could see 15-30" of fresh snow by Saturday night. Snow in the mountains will continue through Sunday and well into next week. You must carry chains or traction tires on all mountain roads this morning. Watch for spots of ice and patches of hard-packed snow. Be prepared for winter driving conditions to prevail through next week, at least.
