BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Central Oregon is at the center of a social media controversy following hundreds of calls for action from across the country to the Deschutes County Sheriff's Office.

Convicted sex offender Jesse Stark, going by "Black Sheep Tiny House" on social media, was reported to be living in La Pine and creating videos on social media sharing his conviction and about relations with a minor female that have disturbed, even angered many viewers.

The sheriff's office told NewsChannel 21 they've received hundreds of calls from across the country reporting Stark is in the county and urging some sort of action about the postings.

Isabella Warren is reaching out to DCSO and will have a report Monday night on NewsChannel 21 on Fox at Four.
