Partly cloudy Saturday with more snow expected Sunday

Happy Saturday, Central Oregon!

From about 10 a.m. until 10 p.m., we take a brief break from winter weather.

However, a new system reaching us by late Saturday brings more chances for precipitation -- this time including both rain and snow.

That chance sticks with us into late Sunday and early Monday.

In that time frame, we could see at least an inch of new snow across town, with 5+ inches of new snow in La Pine and Sunriver.

Meanwhile, the Cascades will receive a healthy amount of new snow -- early calculations are showing the possibility of 30+ inches at Mt. Bachelor by Monday.

It doesn't end there - we could see winter weather at some point every day through next Friday.
