Gribbling Rd. bridge replacement set

KTVZ

As a portion of ongoing scheduled maintenance, the Deschutes County Road Department will be replacing the wooden deck on the bridge structure over the Central Oregon Irrigation District canal on Gribbling Road.

A portion of Gribbling Road between US 20 and Ward Road will be closed for the bridge maintenance work beginning on Monday, March 4 at 8:00 a.m. and reopening on Thursday, March 7 at 5:00 p.m. for the bridge repair.

Local residential and emergency service traffic can access the area north of the bridge from US 20 and south of the bridge from Ward Road.

In addition to the new bridge deck, guardrails will also be installed to improve safety.
