Redmond Toy and Food Drive set to begin

Redmond Fire & Rescue and the Salvation Army have once again partnered for the annual “Redmond Toy and Food Drive.”

Donations from organizations, businesses and individuals are used to provide toys, canned food, and a Christmas dinner for those in need during the holiday season.

We will begin accepting donations of unwrapped toys for ages 1 through 13, non-perishable food, or cash at Redmond Fire & Rescue’s downtown station, 341 NW Dogwood Ave. after Thanksgiving.

The Redmond Fire and Rescue Volunteer Association will be accepting donations at the following locations over the Thanksgiving weekend:

St. Charles Starlight Parade, November, 29 th at 5:00pm. Downtown Redmond

Volunteers will be available to take donations during the parade.
After the parade volunteers will be available to take donations at our antique fire engine during the tree lighting ceremony that will be occurring at Centennial Park located on 7 th street.

Walmart parking lot, November 29 th from 10am to 2pm.

A fire engine staffed by volunteers will be parked in front of the store accepting donations.
