Local Alert Weather – Tues. AM
Happy Tuesday morning, everyone!
Today is forecasted to be partly cloudy to partly sunny with dry conditions. We have a slight chance for a few rain showers this morning, but many of the showers will fall on the Cascades in the form of snow. During the next 48 hours Mt. Bachelor could pick up 2-3″ of snow.
We broke a record yesterday for a daytime high! We reached 70 degrees at Roberts Field in Redmond. Our average daytime high is 44 degrees and our previous record was 65 degrees.
Highs for Tuesday won’t be nearly as warm… we’ll top out around average in the mid to upper 40s. Winds will be breezy out of the west around 15 to 20 miles per hour.
Overnight lows under mostly cloudy to partly cloudy skies will be in the low to mid 20s. The Total Lunar Eclipse will be at its maximum at 5:29 a.m. PST if you want to step outside to see if you can see it! Fingers crossed the clouds break and we get a view.
A fairly dry, but cooler pattern is ahead for the next couple days. Highs will be in the low to mid 40s. We’ll see variable clouds overhead. Some showers could arrive overnight Wednesday into Thursday, but they would be very light at this time.
Heading into the weekend we will see highs in the mid to upper 50s with partly sunny skies overhead.
