Alleged DUII driver crashes onto guardrail near Sunriver
A south Deschutes County man was taken to the hospital and charged with DUII after his car crashed on South Century Drive south of Sunriver Sunday afternoon, leaving it atop a guardrail, Deschutes County sheriff’s deputies said.
Sgt. William Bailey said Jeremy Botta, 42, was at the wheel of a Subaru that struck a bridge wall around 4:45 p.m., then crossed both lanes of Century Drive before going up and over the guardrail at the Little Deschutes River.
Botta was taken to St. Charles Bend with non-life-threatening injuries, Bailey said. He was cited in lieu of custody on DUII and criminal mischief charges
