What is a Local Alert Weather Day?
At KTVZ News, keeping you and your family safe and informed is our top priority. That’s why we’re introducing Local Alert Weather Days — special alerts to give you early notice when potentially dangerous or disruptive weather is on the way.
Unlike traditional weather alerts, a Local Alert Weather Day is issued before official warnings from agencies like the National Weather Service. It’s our way of helping you prepare ahead of time — not just react.
