Missing Bend Man Located, Police Say

A Bend man reported missing by his family last week was found Sunday in good condition, police said.

Few details were released, other than to report that David Paul marks, 44, had been located.

Police offered thanks to the community for their help in the investigation.

Bend police released several photos Saturday as they asked the public for help while authorities in three counties look for Marks last heard from earlier in the week and due home from a camping trip several days ago.

Police were contacted around 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday by members of Marks? family and told they had not seen him in several days, which was unusual, said Sgt. Greg Owens.

An investigation determined that Marks last was heard from on Monday, Owens said. A family friend told NewsChannel 21 the family became more concerned when he didn?t pick up his children from school on Tuesday as planned.

He is known to camp and rock hunt in remote areas around Burns and Lakeview, the sergeant said,
