Big Sky Park to close for asphalt maintenance

Bend Park & Recreation District’s Big Sky Park will be temporarily closed Tuesday, July 10th through Friday, July 13th due to an asphalt maintenance project.

Located at 21690 NE Neff Road, the park is expected to re-open by Saturday, July 14th.

During the closure, people are encouraged to use other parks in the area, including:

• Pine Nursery Community Park, 3750 NE Purcell Blvd. Features walking trails, large off-leash area and sports complex similar to Big Sky.

• Mountain View Neighborhood Park, 1975 NE Providence Drive

• Providence Neighborhood Park, 1055 NE Providence Drive

• Pilot Butte Neighborhood Park, 1320 NE Highway 20
