Deschutes County sets chip-sealing work

The Deschutes County Road Department will be chip sealing Deschutes Market Road from Highway 97 to the Bend city limits near Yeoman, beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday and ending Thursday morning.

Chip sealing will then move to Hamehook Road from Deschutes Market Road to Butler Market Road late in the morning on Thursday, ending Thursday evening at approximately 5:00 pm.

Both chip sealing projects will take place both days from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A pilot car will be guiding traffic through the job sites, but travelers should expect temporary traffic delays of up to 20 minutes.
