Prineville man arrested on rape, abuse charges

KTVZ

A 54-year-old man was arrested Wednesday at his northeast Prineville home, accused of rape and sex abuse in incidents that allegedly took place over several years, police said.

Francisco R. Castillo was arrested shortly before 11 a.m. at a home on NE Buckbrush Lane, said Capt. Michael Boyd.

Castillo was booked into the Crook County Jail on first-degree charges of rape, sex abuse and unlawful sexual penetration, Boyd said. Bail was set at $130,000.

In a news release, Boyd said, “The arrest stemmed from an investigation conducted by police after a single victim came forward and reported years of abuse.”

Further details were not released. However, Boyd asked that anyone with additional information contact Prineville police at (541) 447-4168.
