Snowy weather closes Sisters schools

All schools in Sisters were closed Friday due to “inclement weather,” the district’s Website stated.

Jefferson Co. 509J schools are also closed, but in that case it is due to the persistent rumors of school violence Friday that prompted district officials to make the call on Thursday.

Redmond schools also were closed Friday, but that was part of their calendar and not for weather or other reasons.
