Spring Break Mud Run

KTVZ

SPRING BREAK IS FOR making memories with your family—this year make ones you’ll never forget at the Sunriver Mudslinger Spring Break Mud Run. From crawling face-first through the muck to being sprayed down by a hose suspended from a crane, the Mudslinger is one of Central Oregon’s most family-friendly and also its dirtiest. Everyone from babies to grandmas are welcome to take on this crazy obstacle course, and all are encouraged to dress up for the occasion. Last year’s race saw tutus, fireman hats and all manner of classic high desert silliness. But be careful, whatever comes in contact with this course will be filthy! To help participants out on this front, t-shirts are available for order with apropos slogans such as “I did something dirty.”

All participants in the race receive a finisher drink voucher and Mudslinger dog tags. The first 150 registrants also receive a Mudslinger sports towel. Families can get a great deal on the race by becoming members of the Sunset Lodging Team too. Get two free kid registrations on a three-night stay at Sunset Lodging or, even better, two free kid registrations and one free adult registration when you stay for five nights. And if you need another reason to crawl on your stomach through the mud, consider that a portion of the proceeds from the event go to Relay for Life—La Pine/Sunriver and Sunriver Shop With a Cop. Both organizations work hard to provide opportunities to the less fortunate in our community and a great way to give back a little this spring break. So, get registered and get ready to get dirty at SunriverMudSlinger.com or call Sunset Lodging at 541.593.5018
