Forest road closed on Sisters Ranger District

The Sisters Ranger District of the Deschutes National Forest closed Forest Road 1217 due to severe rutting and shallow washouts. The road, between Forest Roads 12 and 1420, northwest of Camp Sherman, will likely be repaired in the next two weeks if conditions are favorable.

Forest Road 1216 is open again after being closed over the weekend due to weather conditions and road damage. The 1216 road, between Forest Road 12 and County Road 1419, is recommended for high clearance vehicle traffic only.
