RPA to host Sparrow Clubs Day of Service
The Redmond Proficiency Academy is pleased to share that middle school students will serve our school and our community in an outdoor beautification event for our Sparrow on Thursday, May 1st.
RPA’s school wide service day will generate community service hours for Braydon, a fifteen-year-old boy who was diagnosed with Ileocecal Crohn’s Disease.
Through Sparrow Clubs USA, RPA adopted Braydon, and RPA students will be volunteering to raise important dollars to assist with his medical needs.
RPA is partnering with community sponsors Mt. Bachelor & Deschutes Brewery, and for every hour of community service that RPA students perform, our sponsors will donate ten dollars towards Braydon and his family through Sparrow Clubs.
Leadership teacher Hillary Kirk said, “We are looking forward to showing students the importance of their volunteer work on this day and hope to provide our Sparrow with the needed resources he deserves.”
