Crook Co. SO joins traffic enforcement blitz

The Crook County Sheriff’s Office is joining law enforcement agencies across Oregon in a 14 day traffic enforcement blitz dedicated to safety belts/ child restraints, texting and speed. The blitz begins on February 9 and runs through February 22.

The Sheriff’s Office will provide regular and overtime enforcement focused on child restraints, texting and speed. The enforcement blitz is provided through overtime funding from the Oregon Department of Transportation.

This will be the first of three blitzes for 2015. The second is scheduled for May 18-May 31, and tThe third is scheduled for August 24-September 6.
