KPOV Community Radio adds two board members
The Board of Directors of KPOV 88.9 FM, High Desert Community Radio recently added two new members: Wyndee Phillips and Cassie Walling, both of Bend, Oregon. KPOV’s Board of Directors sets direction for the radio station and governs its operations.
Wyndee Phillips works at Bend Metro Park & Recreation as a personal trainer & instructor of several classes. She has volunteered at C.O.B.R.A., Bend Venture Conference, Bend Film Festival, and Cascades Theatrical Company.
Cassie Walling was born and raised in Bend Oregon. She has worked in many roles including events coordination for one of Oregon’s largest wine and spirits distributors, as executive director of the Central Oregon Symphony Association, and currently for a local restoration company that assists community members in emergencies.
“We are fortunate to have Wyndee and Cassie join the KPOV Board of Directors. They are both dedicated to making Central Oregon a better community and we are delighted to have them devote their talents and energies to KPOV.” says Bob Newhart, KPOV’s board president.
