Deschutes DA to announce charging decision
For over two years, Deschutes County residents and the families involved with a tragic undisclosed case have waited for a charging decision from the Deschutes County District Attorney’s Office.
On Thursday, February 19 at 9:30 a.m., Deschutes County District Attorney John Hummel will announce his decision on the case. Bend Police Chief Jim Porter will join DA Hummel in making the announcement. Each will make a statement and answer questions.
The media conference will take place in the Deschutes County Board of County Commissioner’s Hearing Room on the first floor of the Deschutes Services Center building, 1300 NW Wall St. in Bend.
The public and media are invited to attend.
