Bend fall youth soccer registration due soon

Sure, it’s June, but youth fall soccer season is around the corner and now’s the time to sign up. The deadline for kids to register for the 2015 Bend Unified Recreational Soccer League (BURSL) fall season is Sunday, June 7th.

Jointly run by the Bend Park and Recreation District and the Bend FC Timbers, the program is open to all boys and girls in Central Oregon entering first through eighth grade in the 2015-16 school year.

Teams are coached by positive, trained volunteer coaches. Based by school and divided by grade, teams practice twice-a-week and play games on Saturdays. The league runs August 24th through October 30th.

Instruction, number of players on teams and game field sizes are age-appropriate and grow incrementally. All kids receive their own uniform including jersey, shorts and socks.
