Natural gas line work to close Gasoline Alley

Gasoline Alley, between Wall and Bond Streets in downtown Bend, will be closed most of the week, as Cascade Natural Gas crews replace aging gas lines with new.

The crew will be working between Greenwood and Oregon Avenues. Another crew will be repaving the work done last week in the area around Try Field downtown.

Expect congestion and traffic control around both areas, with street sections closed during the day. Motorists should look for alternate routes all week, with the streets open each evening around 6 p.m.
