Tonight: Sheriff’s debate, live at 6:30 on KTVZ

KTVZ

With just over a month to go before the ballots are counted, Deschutes County Sheriff Shane Nelson and challenger Eric Kozowski are in our studio at 6:30 p.m., debating the issues and answering some of the man questions we – and you, our audience – want the answers to.

It’s the first contested sheriff’s race in Deschutes County in a long time, and the high-profile race has drawn a lot of attention, and sparked a lot of controversy. For a half-hour, NewsChannel 21’s Lee Anderson will pose the questions, and you get to hear what they have to say on the issues swirling around the department.

We asked our viewers and Facebook friends for what you want to ask the two men, and we thank you for a great outpouring of worthwhile questions and issues.

We also will be live-streaming the debate here on KTVZ.COM, as we do all our newscasts.

So we invite you to join us for tonight’s sheriff’s debate, at 6:30 p.m., and Audrey Roberts will have a full wrap-up on NewsChannel 21 First at 10 on Fox and 11 on NBC.
