PacificSource donates 50 free entires to Happy Little Kids Run

PacificSource Health Plans is donating 50 free entries to the Happy Little Kids Run held on Saturday, May 27 , at the Riverbend Park in Bend. The Happy Little Kids Run is part of the Kids Rock the Races series held throughout 2017.

To receive a free entry to the Happy Little Kids Run, parents need to enter the promotional code “PSHappyKids” when registering their child at http://happygirlsrun.com/registration. The first 50 registrants to use the code will have their race fee waived.

The Happy Little Kids Run offers age-appropriate running distances for youth ages 3 to 10. Kids ages 3-4 will run a 50-yard race beginning at Noon, kids ages 5-7 will run a 500-yard race at 12:15 p.m., and kids ages 8-10 will run a 1.5K race at 12:30 p.m.

“Community races are a great way to combine fun and fitness, and we believe all children should have the opportunity to participate,” said Kate Wells, director of wellness and community health strategy for PacificSource. “PacificSource is all about improving the health of our communities, so we’re happy to support local events that get youngsters moving.”
