Two men arrested in deadly shooting near PSU

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Police say two men have been arrested in connection with a shooting near Portland State University earlier this month that killed a 21-year-old man from Vancouver, Washington.
 
Portland police said Thursday that 26-year-old David M. Brown was arrested on an assault charge on Nov. 7 shortly after the shooting death of 21-year-old Diego Tejeda-Manzo. Police previously said a fight had broken out before the shooting.
 
Police say 19-year-old Nicholas Hannan had gone to a hospital after the shooting for an injury and that police contacted him there. Police say he was arrested Thursday after he was released from the hospital.
 
Hannan has been lodged in Multnomah County Jail on a murder charge.
