Church collecting food, warm clothes for homeless vets

Riverwoods Baptist Church will be collecting food and warm clothing for Central Oregon’s homeless veterans in several locations over the next several days.

Jake’s Diner, Bend on Hwy 20 behind Chevron (by Costco)

Dec. 15, 2017 to Dec. 20, 2017 from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Albertsons South, Bend (by Walmart)

Dec. 15, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM

Dec. 16,2017 From 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Dec. 19, 2017 From 2:00 PM to 4:00PM

Albertsons parking lot in Redmond- Odem Meadow and Hwy 97

Dec. 17, 2017 from 1:30 PM to 4:00PM

Items needed:

Canned meats- tuna, chicken, Spam, Vienna sausage

Chili

Protein bars and granola bars

Packaged snack crackers with peanut butter or cheese

Fruit

Dog food- because some of them have dogs that need our help

Warm clothes, blankets, tents, sleeping bags
