Local Alert Weather – Wed. AM
Happy Wednesday morning, everyone!
Partly cloudy skies greeted us this morning for the Super Blue Blood Moon. Clouds will increase throughout the day. Temperatures are cold to start in the teens and 20s. Highs eventually will climb into the low to mid 40s. Winds today will be out of the south and southwest around 10 to 15 miles per hour.
Overnight expect cloudy skies with the slight chance for mixed showers. A much better chance will fall across the Cascades and highest elevations. Overnight lows will be mild under the cloud cover in the upper 20s and lower 30s.
Thursday sees a slight chance for rain showers in the morning with a better chance by the afternoon. Overall, we’re looking at an overcast day with rain showers mainly for the Cascades. Some showers might spill over into Sisters. Daytime highs will continue to warm and we’ll top out in the upper 40s and lower 50s.
By Friday we’ll see some sunshine with highs in the low to mid 50s. The above average temperatures continue into the Super Bowl weekend and highs will be in the mid to upper 50s and lower 60s. Partly sunny skies are on tap for Saturday and Sunday.
