Local Alert Weather, Tue. AM, 3.13.18
Good Tuesday Morning, Everyone…
The rapid advance of a cold front from the west will thicken this morning’s partly cloudy skies and take us into a rainy, windy afternoon. Highs will range from the low 50’s to around 60 degrees. Southerly winds will pick up to 15-20 mph, with gusts in some areas as high as 40 mph.
Overnight lows will drop to the low to mid 30’s for most. We will see a chance of mixed showers by morning and NW breezes will back off to 5-15 mph.
The greatest strength of this system will be felt today and Wednesday, but the chance of showers will linger through the rest of the work week and carry a bit into the weekend. This storm system is packing a lot of cold air so we can expect highs in the 40’s and low in the 20’s for the rest of the week.
HAVE A SPARKLING DAY IN CENTRAL OREGON!
