Local Alert Weather, Fri. AM, 4.27.18
Good Friday Morning, Everyone…
The continued advance of a weak system that is gaining some strength will bring us more clouds along will a 40% chance of afternoon and evening showers. Highs will be in the mid 60’s and light westerly winds this morning will pick up to 5-10 mph this afternoon.
We will cling to a chance of scattered showers tonight. Lows will be in the 30’s and gusty westerly winds will pick up to 5-15 mph.
That chance of showers will stay with us through the weekend. Highs will stay chilly, only topping out in the mid 50’s. Winds out of the SW will remain fairly gentle at 5-10 mph. Storm activity will start to break up late Sunday and into Monday. Monday will also mark the beginning of a clearing and warming trend that will have us back to sunny skies and temps in the low 70’s by next Thursday.
