KTVZ

Good Wednesday Morning, Everyone…
High pressure gaining strength over much of the west coast will modify our air flow pattern today. That will mean a little less smoke on the last of the intensely hot days we see for awhile. Under sunny skies today’s highs will reach the low to mid 90’s with NW breezes at 5-15 mph. Skies will stay clear tonight. Lows will be in the upper 40’s to low 50’s. After a gusty evening winds become westerly at 5-10 mph.
The cool down many have been hoping for will take place over the next few days. The trend will take us from temps that were 10+ degrees above average to about 10 degrees below average. Skies will stay clear going into the weekend. Beginning Saturday we will introduce some thin clouds to the forecast. From Sunday into next week skies will stay mostly sunny.
