Happy Wednesday evening, everyone!
Overnight snow will continue for the Cascades and mountain passes. Ski areas will see some more snow through tomorrow morning. Snow levels tonight will be around 2,700′ through tomorrow morning. Central Oregon will see a slight chance for snow flurries tonight, but overall we can expect partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies. Lows will fall into the mid to upper 20s, so know melted snow will turn to spots of ice on surfaces. Winds will generally gust around 10 to 15 miles per hour.
Tomorrow will begin on a cold note with temperatures in the 20s, but we warm to the mid to upper 30s by noon. We’ll see partly cloudy skies throughout the day. Winds will gust around 15 miles per hour out of the northwest. Highs top out in the mid to upper 30s, which is right around average for the end of December.
Another cold night is in store overnight into Friday with clearer skies. Temperatures will be in the teens and lower 20s. Friday will be dry with partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies. Highs top out in the upper 30s and lower 40s.
The weekend will be mainly dry apart from the chance for mixed showers overnight into Sunday. Saturday will see temperatures in the mid to upper 40s. Mostly cloudy skies will be overhead both Saturday and Sunday.
Winds will be breezy at times over the weekend as cooler air moves in for Sunday and Monday. Winds will gust around 20 miles per hour.
