Sunday AM Weather Forecast 2-3-18
Saturday ended with a high of 52 degrees which is above average for this time of year.
A northerly flow through Tuesday will bring in a low pressure system into the region.
With this system comes a continued chance for showers on Sunday morning and into the evening.
Snow levels were at 4000 to 6000 feet Saturday night but will began to drop Sunday in response to the low pressure system.
This gives us a 40 percent chance of snow Sunday evening for most of central Oregon and an even greater chance on Monday.
Sunday’s highs will be closer to average from the high 30s to low 40s with overnight lows dropping to the mid-high 20s.
A winter weather watch has been issued starting Monday at 4 am through Tuesday at 3pm. This is in response to a second low pressure system dropping down along the coast from British Columbia and merging with moisture already in Central Oregon from the system already moving in from the south.
Moving into next week, daytime highs drop into the low-mid 30s and overnight lows will drop into teens.
