Monday PM Local Alert Weather Forecast

KTVZ

Good evening Central Oregon!

A crazy day on the High Desert with tons of snow falling throughout the day.

Many areas saw over a foot of snow!

It looks like there might be some relief from this storm though on the way.

We do still have a winter storm warning in place for the region, that will expire early Wednesday Morning.

This evening the storm system looks to dry up and we should see dryer conditions across the region.

Overnight lows will drop down into the teens and even the single digits for places like La Pine and Sunriver.

Tuesday it looks like we will stay dry with partly cloudy skies overhead and temperatures topping out in the low to mid 20s.

Then Tuesday night’s when we will start to see some snow showers move back into the region.

We could potentially see another 1-3 inches of snow by Wednesday morning.

Cold temperatures are here to stay as well, with highs throughout the week topping out in the upper 20s to 30s.

Enjoy the snow Central Oregon and stay safe!
