Local Alert Weather, Wed. AM, 5-1-19

KTVZ

Good Wednesday Morning, Everyone…

Very cold arctic air drawn southward along the coast of Canada will be moderated by warmer ocean currents and then get wrapped into the Pacific NW. Under pretty clear skies we will see highs in the mid 60’s accompanied by westerly winds at 10-15 mph. We will stay mostly clear tonight. Lows will drop into the low 30’s and breezes will turn southerly at a gusty 5-15 mph.

From here we are looking at a nice little warm up that will take us into the weekend. With plenty of sunshine, we will be in the mid 60’s once again Thursday. While we may see a cloud or two over the next few days there will be no rain and that warming trend will carry us into the mid 70’s Saturday and Sunday. Skies will stay mostly sunny going into next week and highs will be in the low 70’s. Beginning Friday night, overnight lows will be in the low to mid 40’s.
