Local Alert Weather – Thurs. PM
Happy Thursday evening, everyone!
Winds will be breezy at times tonight as an area of low pressure to our south moves east. Expect breezes to be around 10 to 15 miles per hour through the rest of the night. We’ll see a chance for showers between now and this evening, but after we get past midnight it looks like most of the showers will be in the higher elevations. Low temperatures will be in the upper 30s and lower 40s.
Friday will be our windiest day for the extended forecast. Winds will gust tomorrow in the late morning and early afternoon around 30 miles per hour. Skies will gradually clear and by the afternoon and evening we’ll be looking at mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. High temperatures will be chilly on Friday in the upper 50s and lower 60s.
Overnight into Saturday we’ll see mostly cloudy skies with lows in the low to mid 30s. If you’re up early for the Pole Pedal Paddle Saturday morning then I would dress warmly as temps will start out cool. We’ll stay mainly dry through the first half of the day as it looks like showers will roll back into Central Oregon in the afternoon. High temperatures will reach the low to mid 60s on Saturday. Winds will be breezy at times around 20 miles per hour.
Showers increase overnight into Sunday. We’ll see rain throughout the day and highs will be cooler in the mid to upper 50s.
The beginning of next week will also see a chance for showers with cool temperatures. We’ll hover in the upper 50s and lower 60s with a chance for showers nearly everyday next week.
