Local Alert Weather Sun, PM 6-2-19

KTVZ

Happy Sunday, Central Oregon.

We finished up our weekend with unseasonably warm daytime highs.

These warm, dry days will continue at least until Wednesday, when we have the next chance for showers on the east slopes of the Cascades.

Until then, daytime highs will remain in the high 70s to low 80s across the region.

Starting Wednesday night, a cold front will pass across the region, sticking with us through Friday.

This will give us the possibility of showers through Friday night.

Snow levels are expected to drop down to 4,500-5,000 feet Thursday night into Friday morning, and there could be some minor accumulating snow.

Breezy to windy conditions are expected through Friday.

Much cooler temps are expected, as well, with highs in the lower 60s.

Overnight lows cool off, as well, not getting much warmer than the low 40s.
