Bandon man gets 30 years in prison for abusing baby
COOS BAY, Ore. (AP) — A former Bandon School District employee has been sentenced to 30 years in federal prison after he was convicted of sexually abusing a 2-month-old girl and distributing photos of the abuse on the internet in 2016.
The World reports 33-year-old Sean Jeffrey Haga was also sentenced to a life term of supervised release.
Haga was working as a computer lab assistant at a local school at the time of his arrest and had worked as a coach for the Bandon School District.
Haga was sentenced in February 2018 to 25 years in prison after being found guilty in Coos County Circuit Court related to the same crimes.
In 2018, Haga pleaded guilty in federal court to one count of sexual exploitation of a minor. In the Coos County case in 2018, he was found guilty of one count of first-degree sodomy.
