Suspect sought in attempted park abduction of girl, 13

Oregon State Police distributed a description and sketch Wednesday of a man who allegedly tried to abduct a 13-year-old girl Tuesday evening at Milo McIver State Park near Estacada.

The incident happened shortly before 7 p.m., troopers said.

The suspect is described as a white male adult, 30 to 40 years old, 5-foot-7 or 5-8, with an average build. Troopers said he had short brown curly hair and was unshaven. He was wearing a red and black plaid shirt with blue jeans, and was driving a red two-door pickup.
