(Update: Adding video)

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Earlier this month, NewsChannel 21 highlighted the concerns of multiple people who faced an inability to receive benefits due to obstacles of navigating exacerbated by the claim filing system, Frances Online.

Matthew Draxton spoke Thursday with one of the individuals from the previous story about where their unemployment stands.

He also spoke with another person who reached out after that story aired who has faced the same struggles with filing a claim.

Draxton also reached out to the Employment Department about some of the hoops folks feel they repeatedly have to jump through, and they said it has more to do with staffing shortages than any issues with the new system.
