Thistle & Nest want to make home ownership a reality for Central Oregonians; Hosting open house March 28th

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ)-- If you're looking to buy a home in Bend, but think it's out of reach, Thistle and Nest wants to help. This Friday, March 28th, it's hosting an open house at Woodhaven Estates in Southeast Bend from 12 to 4.

You can walk through a fully furnished two bedroom model home, chat with housing experts and learn about down payment assistance programs. It's also matching families with three bedroom homes ready this summer. Organizers say it's a great chance to see how home ownership could be possible for more local families.
