FIRE ALERT: Vegetation Fire Breaks Out Near Redmond Airport; Cave Fire

UPDATE: Forward progress has been stopped. Per Watch Duty - Firefighters have a wet line around the fire and are checking the area ahead of it for spot fires. They will be on scene for a couple of hours mopping up.
REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) – Fire crews are responding to a vegetation fire that broke out Sunday afternoon near the Redmond Airport, prompting localized evacuations in nearby areas.
According to Watch Duty, a real-time wildfire alert system, camp evacuations are currently in progress as the fire burns in grass and brushland near the airport.
The fire's size is currently at 1/4 of an acre and is being called the Cave Fire.
