You’re invited to bring your pets and family to a fun Christmas ‘Pawty’ in Redmond
REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- There’s another opportunity for you to celebrate Christmas with your pet. Pawfect Harmony Pup Spa is hosting a ‘Family Friendly Christmas Pawty’ on Saturday, Dec. 13.
From 11 AM untill 3 PM this Saturday, you can get your dog or your children’s picture taken with Santa at the groomers. Tickets cost $10, but while you’re there, you can enjoy an ornament crafting station, and a nail painting station for your dog.
Spa owner Stephanie Whiteside is excited for the event: “It's just great! I mean, they're part of our family. I know a lot of people, especially in my generation, aren't really having kids right now, anyway. Their dogs are their family.“
Whiteside recently moved into the space, and always wanted to host an event like this, with an emphasis on family.
“And so we just kind of want them to feel welcome,” she said, “to come somewhere where they're welcome. And it's not just, you know, people-friendly. We want the dog-friendly aspect as well. ”
All this month, ‘Pawfect Harmony Pup Spa’ is accepting donations for local pet shelters.
They’re looking for pet food and treats, toys, bed and blankets. They’re even taking gift cards and cash donations. If you bring a donation to the event, you’ll get a free nail trimming for your dog.
