Bend man arrested for menacing with replica gun at apartment party
BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) — A Bend man was arrested late Sunday night after allegedly entering an apartment armed with a replica handgun and threatening partygoers. Reynaldo Ramirez Francisco, 26, is facing charges of menacing, harassment and first-degree burglary.
At approximately 10:09 p.m. on Jan. 4, 2026, Bend Police responded to the 20100 block of Reed Lane following reports of a man with a gun who disrupted a gathering, pulled his girlfriend by the hair and dragged her out of the apartment. The couple left the scene in a black Audi A4, prompting a swift response from law enforcement.
Officers located the Audi at the couple's residence in the 60900 block of McMullin Avenue. The Central Oregon Emergency Response Team was called to assist, facilitating contact with the individuals inside the home. Authorities managed to call Francisco out of the residence without incident.
Francisco was arrested and taken to the Bend Police Department before being lodged at the Deschutes County Jail. During a subsequent search of the home, police recovered a replica handgun, which added to the charges he faces.
Francisco is currently held in the Deschutes County Jail awaiting further proceedings related to the charges against him.
These are the offenses he is currently facing from the Bend Police, but after a review from the Deschutes County District Attorney, these could change.
