THERE’S GOOD NEWS: Brand Lab opens in Redmond, specializing in personalized apparel
REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) — Brand Lab, a new clothing printing business, opened this month in downtown Redmond. The shop specializes in "single" custom prints, allowing customers to receive a personalized T-shirt in approximately 15 minutes.
The business model focuses on individual requests and small-scale projects rather than bulk requirements. Patrons can bring their own designs to the shop or develop a new concept using on-site tools.
The shop caters to spontaneous requests, allowing customers to receive garments for jokes or specific events within minutes. This approach differs from standard commercial printers that typically focus on high-volume contracts or large corporate uniform orders. Customers have the option to provide their own digital artwork or work with staff to build a concept from scratch on the premises.
Luke Westcot, owner of Brand Lab, said the business fills a gap for groups that do not require hundreds of items. He emphasized that the shop provides professional-grade personalized apparel for families and small teams that might otherwise be turned away by larger operations.
"Bachelor bachelorette parties, you can come in and everybody has their matching shirts. Are you going on your next Disney vacation? The whole family can come in and personalize everything for whatever event they want to do," Westcot said.
For established organizations, Brand Lab develops comprehensive merchandising lines and manages digital storefronts. These services include the creation of dedicated web shops to facilitate online sales for local brands. The business has already begun partnering with other local companies throughout the Redmond area.
The owners also provide specialized pricing to support local community organizations. These discounts are available for schools, non-profit groups, and law enforcement agencies.
