Breezy and Gray Today, Sun and 60s by Sunday

Central Oregon is in for a blustery transition over the next few days, starting with some heavy wind today. According to NOAA, we had gusts hitting between 45–50 mph with temperatures hovering in the mid-50s.

While most of the heavy rain from this system is staying west of the mountains, we’ll likely see some light, scattered showers through Friday night.

The good news is that things start to shift on Saturday; we might have a damp morning, but the clouds should break for some sun by the afternoon.

Sunday is really the payoff for the week, with mostly clear skies and highs jumping into the low 60s, kicking off a much warmer trend that could even see us hitting the 70s by Monday.
