70s Tomorrow: A Significant Warm-up for Central Oregon

We are looking at a quiet Sunday evening across the tri-county area as we prepare for a significant warm-up to start the work week.

Tonight: Mild and Mostly Cloudy

If you have evening plans, expect mostly cloudy skies but very mild temperatures for early April. We’ll see overnight lows staying in the lower to mid-40s with light winds.

Monday: Temperatures Climbing Into the 70s

Monday is going to be the standout day for the week. We’ll clear out any morning clouds fairly quickly, leading to a sunny and warm afternoon.

  • Highs: Expect temperatures to reach the lower to mid-70s across the High Desert.
  • Winds: Light in the morning, becoming northwest at 5–10 mph with gusts around 20 mph by the afternoon.

On the Radar: Tuesday Winds

The warmth holds into Tuesday, but we are tracking a shift in the wind. Southwest gusts could reach 30 mph in the valleys and up to 40 mph along the East Slopes of the Cascades near Sisters and La Pine. This wind marks the leading edge of a cooler system that may bring rain chances back to the region by the end of the week.
