Dry and warm pattern continues, slightly cooler on Friday

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - Above normal temperatures are back in the forecast today with highs climbing into the upper 70s and low 80s this afternoon. Expect breezy conditions at times, mainly during the afternoon and evening.

Relative humidity levels are staying low today across Central Oregon. Combined with breezy winds and warm temperatures, fire concerns could increase heading into the weekend.

Overnight temperatures will dip into the low to mid 40s under partly cloudy skies.

Temperatures will cool a few degrees Friday as a weak system moves across the Pacific Northwest, keeping highs mainly in the 70s.

We’ll start the day with more clouds overhead, but skies should gradually clear through the afternoon with more sunshine returning later in the day.

High temperatures climb back into the 80s this weekend with sunshine and warm conditions sticking around across Central Oregon. It will be a beautiful Mother's Day with mostly sunny skies.

It looks like the warm and dry pattern will continue into next week, with temperatures trending even hotter. Some areas could see highs approaching 90 degrees by early to mid next week. We're not tracking any major rain chances for the next several days.
