Bend’s historic Nels and Lillian Anderson House gets a move on, slow and steady

Slow and steady, with police, fire and Bend Band of Brothers escort, the nearly century-old Nels and Lillian Anderson House, adorned with a Christmas tree and American flag, was moved 700 yards in two hours Tuesday evening, reaching a new location out of the way of the Highway 97 realignment project.
